This tour aims to provide some quality snorkelling experiences while also giving guests the chance to experience the incredible Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island! Departing from Airlie Beach at 8.45am, you'll be taken to a pristine inner fringing coral reef where you'll receive some personalised snorkelling instruction before being able to hit the water and witness a wonderful array of stunning soft and hard corals as well as a range of incredibly colourful fish. All snorkelling and safety equipment is provided, so even beginners will be able to make the most of their time in the water - you'll visit two separate stunning snorkel sites in total around lovely Hook Island.
Follow it up with a landing on Whitehaven Beach itself - widely considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world - where you'll get to witness its famously white sand firsthand. Join your guides for a walk to the lookout at the top of Hill Inlet for an unmatched panorama of the beach and its surrounds - be sure to bring your camera as it's a scene you'll want to treasure forever! Guests are welcome to bring their own food along for the trip, or for the reasonable extra fee of $17 an optional upgrade to enjoy a delicious tropical style lunch is available. Two great snorkelling sites, wonderful Whitehaven Beach, a cruise through vibrant waters - what more could one want in a tour?

10 months agoFrom the start of the trip it was perfect, awesome friendly staff, excellent trip, walked Hill inlet, lots of fun on the boat ride, swam at whitehaven, beautiful lunch, then snorkelled in two spots! Kids loved it!!! Highly recommend this trip, definitely do it again!
10 months agoWe weren’t lucky with the wind side of life but still ended up a perfect day. Our tour guides were super friendly and fun. Snorkelling in two different areas was amazing! Highly recommend this tour. We got to see lots of marine life and butterfly bay was stunning.
1 year agoIt was a fantastic experience from the start of the trip to the end. The crew was very friendly and very supportive of the non-swimmers. They have made sure that they were swimming along with the non-swimmers. They have explained everything and it was a fun day for everyone.
2 years agoThe Whitehaven Beach Ocean Rafting adventure was a thriller of an experience, not a dull moment. The crewmen were awesome, funny and friendly. The snorkelling was great, the lunch was good. My boys loved the boat ride, high speed, the driver even did some tricks on the way back, was the highlight for my middle boy.
2 years agoWe took the northern exposure tour and what an experience we had! Skipper Josh and AJ our tour guide/deckhand was so knowledgeable and confident which put us at ease as it was an exhilarating ride with choppy seas. We snorkelled 2 locations and both were fantastic. Choices are abundant with lots to see. Both boys were always watching and asking if we were having fun or needing assistance with anything. And after snorkelling the packed lunch was amazeballs lots of fresh salad and meats it really was a truly amazing day and I will be back with my whole family very soon.
2 years agoTHE BEST DAY TOUR I HAVE EVER DONE. The team who led our tour were fantastic (Shout out to Josh and Nicole!) and you could tell they worked very hard to make sure we had a special day. We had plenty of time in the water snorkelling and on Whitehaven beach. The walk to the hill inlet lookout was easy and at the top Nicole took the time to take everyone’s photos. I felt that I was in safe hands the whole time and I loved the family-friendly element of the tour. Drinks on the boat are reasonably priced and the service doesn’t stop at the end of the tour, with all of the team going above and beyond to get us home safely. Thank you so much to the team at Ocean Rafting, you really made our time in the Whitsundays so special and we are very grateful! COULDN’T RECOMMEND HIGHLY ENOUGH!
3 years agoThis experience is something that I will never forget. This tour was very well organised with a funny, caring and polite crew which took very good care of us. It was an absolutely fantastic day filled with amazing spots to snorkel and this fabulous Whitehaven Beach is to die for!
4 years agoSnorkelling was ok but the morning was overcast. Whitehaven Beach was amazing and the Hill Inlet Lookout was great after lunch but it was sunny and very hot. Would have preferred the hill walk first then snorkelling after lunch.
