Location

Go walkabout on this afternoon Port Douglas sightseeing tour to the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation. Join a local Aboriginal guide, as you stroll through the world's oldest rainforest that meets the reef and discover more about the traditional hunting technique and customs of the Aboriginal culture.

Location

  • Based 1 hour north of Cairns (10 minutes north of Port Douglas)
  • Pick ups are available from Port Douglas, Mossman and Daintree Village
  • Guests from outside these areas must make their own arrangements to pick up locations

Additional Information

  • Tours may be changed or cancelled due to weather and road conditions
  • Half day tours are a shortened version and either touring in the morning or afternoon
  • Please advise any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking
  • Each tour is operated with a minimum of 2 passengers and a maximum of 11 passengers
  • Tours are unavailable Christmas Days, Boxing Day, News Years Day and any culturally significant days

SIGHTSEEING TOURS

  • Explores the region further north, crossing the Daintree River by ferry and reaching Cape Tribulation – renowned as “where the rainforest meets the reef”, stopping for guided walks and a swim in a freshwater creek.

CULTURAL TOURS

  • Explores the region from Daintree Village south, primarily around Mossman, including Mossman Gorge or a freshwater stream and Cooya Beach or other coastal environment. Tour includes a walk along the coastline with spears and learning the traditional hunting techniques.
