Throughout the 4 Day Roma Tour, you’ll hear untold stories and meet the colourful characters of this iconic Queensland town. Combining cultural attractions and visits to agricultural locations, this escorted tour with accommodation and meals is a wonderful way to explore Roma.

Itinerary

Day One

  • 2pm arrive in Roma and check into motel
  • 3pm pick up from accommodation, Meet your guide, and travel to Adungadoo Pathway for an official Welcome to Country
  • 4pm enjoy a guided tour through The Oil Patch Outdoor Museum
  • 5pm learn of the entertaining trials and triumphs of early industry men and women in Roma at the Big Rig Night Show Sunset Experience
  • 6.30pm dinner at local pub

Day Two

  • 9am Pick up at your accommodation to travel to Roma's key landmarks and locations
  • 12 - 1pm drop off in town for lunch break and explore of the main streets of Roma
  • 1.30 - 4.30pm spend a relaxing afternoon on Rosedale Orchards
  • 5pm return to Roma accommodation

Day Three

  • 7am depart Roma
  • 8.45am journey to a private property in the Carnarvon Ranges; visit cultural sites; enjoy morning tea by the river; property tour; earn about the fascinating flora and fauna from a qualified ecological expert; relish at spectacular views over the renowned Arcadia Valley
  • 4.30pm depart the property
  • 6pm return to Roma accommodation

Day Four

  • 9am Tour/ Shop Mooreland’s Bush Nursery and enjoy morning tea in the gardens
  • 11am Visit the magnificent building of St Paul’s Anglican Church Roma
  • 12pm drop off in town for lunch break and explore of the main streets of Roma
  • 3.30pm travel to The Barn at Mount Hope a 34,000-acre working cattle station. Enjoy a guided tour of the property followed by an authentic, homestyle two-course camp oven dinner at sunset
  • 9pm return to Roma accommodation

Day Five

  • Check out from your accommodation and continue on with your outback adventure
