“ Absolutely wonderful morning on the water. Very informative and friendly were the staff. We were guaranteed whales and whales are what we got. We saw many pods and they came quite close. As an avid photographer, it was a dream cruise spending the whole time admiring the views of the water, Fraser Island coastline and the magnificence of the whales and their babies. Was a time to be had by all.
The whole crew were great, interactive and ensuring everyone was involved in the morning. The experience was wonderful, everything was clean and accessible. The staff were so involved with the passengers. I would definitely recommend these guys and will definitely be back.

2 years agoWe booked online, it was simple and quick, the staff were so kind and informative, it was great weather and we were lucky enough to see the whales breach. We had a wonderful time and have shared these comments with many of our friends and look forward to joining you again.
3 years agoThe Spirit of Hervey Bay was a fantastic experience. We saw several pods of whales, the boat was clean and modern and the staff friendly. We also got a closeup view of Fraser Island as well. It was uncrowded even though it's the school holidays. I'd definitely recommend it to families.
3 years agoGreat experience onboard a great boat run by great people. Very happy with our whale watching tour. Took my 2 children who had an absolute ball. The crew went out of there way to make sure the kids were kept entertained. I highly recommend The Spirit of Hervey Bay.
3 years agoI do recommend them. We were able to watch heaps of whales which we never expected. My kids and my family enjoyed a lot. Usually I get seasick but by travelling in this I didn’t feel that. Also they had a good service.
4 years agoIt took for 4 hours overall and saw only a few babies with their mums. It is a bit frustrating and needed the patience to chase. By the way, apparently, we missed afternoon tea as it wasn’t complimentary when we asked for tea on the way back. I still recommend as it is the best thing to do in Hervey Bay.
4 years agoBeautiful day! Saw lots of whales and dolphins. The crew was awesome and made everything really easy. They had lots of knowledge and had a great dialogue of where and what we were doing. The vessel was really clean and maintained. Morning tea was a great little inclusion. Would 100% do it again.
