What you need to know
Location
As the sun sets over the hills of the Otways, potoroos, bandicoots, pademelons and more are waking up and starting their active nights of feeding and foraging. You can spot them as they emerge for the evening on our Dusk Discovery Wildlife Tour. Walking with a conservationist guide through the Sanctuary, you will encounter unique wildlife living in a stunning wild environment overlooking the ocean. Learn about the ecology of the spectacular Otways and the research protecting the Great Ocean Road’s threatened species.
On this intimate tour, your conservationist guide will give you exclusive insights into the lives of some of the more elusive and rarely seen animals who call the Otways home, plus spectacular sunset photo opportunities.
This unique Australian wildlife encounter is not to be missed!

- Tours operate Wednesdays and Saturdays
- Subject to change depending on daylight hours. Currently, please arrive at 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start.

What To Bring
- We recommend wearing comfortable, enclosed walking shoes. In winter it is recommended to bring a warm jacket. It can rain at any time of the year in the Otway Ranges, so it’s best to be prepared with a rainproof jacket.

Age Restrictions
- There is an age restriction for this tour of 10 years and over.
Late Arrivals
- The Great Ocean Road is often busy, and travel times can be longer than anticipated. If running late, please call ahead so options can be discussed. All efforts will be made to accommodate visitors on subsequent tours, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Parking
- There is ample parking for visitors. We are able to accommodate campervans, caravans, minibuses and coaches.
