Location

Get out on the water on this Gold Coast half day kayak and snorkel adventure! This is a fun way to spend a morning exploring the tranquil Gold Coast waterways. On this tour you will paddle out to 2 secluded islands across calm waters. Keep your eyes open for friendly dolphins that are often spotted playing in the Gold Coast waters. After a short paddle to Wave Break Island, it is time for a light continental breakfast on the beach! The next stop is South Stradbroke Island for a bush walk to see Wallabies and watch talented surfers hit the waves at one of the best surfing beaches in the world. After your visit to South Stradbroke Island it is time to snorkel with hundreds of marine life including sub tropical fish and turtles. Don't worry if you have never been kayaking or snorkelling before as the kayaks are stable and have been designed with beginners in mind. Friendly tour guides will also provide you with expert safety instruction and guidance throughout the day and all equipment including kayaks, snorkel gear and life jackets are supplied for you.

Half day kayak and snorkel tours are offered everyday except Sundays and last approximately 3.5 hours with hotel transfers from Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach available. Alternatively, you can meet your tour guide at the departure point in Labrador. Wetsuits can be hired for an additional fee if required. Children aged 5 years and above may participate as this is a gentle kayak and snorkel tour that is suitable for all levels of fitness. Time

Tours depart daily except Sundays from opposite the Grand Hotel, Marine Pde, Labrador at approximately 7am (or earlier from your hotel) and return at approximately 12noon. Total kayaking time for the whole tour is approximately 1 hour

This tour is suitable for all fitness levels and ages
Everyone on the tour must be wearing a life jacket. If you don't know how to swim, please notify the tour guide and wear your life jacket at all times (even during snorkelling)
Children 5 years and older can participate

“ Did a kayaking and snorkelling tour June 28, we had so much fun our tour guide was so lovely and there’s also free food provided 10/10 for the beautiful sights and fishes you can see while snorkelling. I highly recommend booking a tour here you won’t regret it.

The experience was nice

The experience was nice, got to see a nice beach and the staffs are welcoming and nice. Sadly can't see any dolphins. But overall a very chill kayaking ride full of fun and sunshine

This is unreal

This is unreal, so good I promised our guide Steve I would post some reviews for him. We were lucky it was a very calm day. We saw 2 dolphins, tropical fish while we snorkelled, was just great. We had been in Cairns only 2 weeks before and paid $175 for a snorkelling trip. Best thing to do on the Gold Coast! Thanks Steve

“As you will be out on the water for most of this tour, wear a hat and plenty of sunscreen. Take a bottle of water with you as you can work up a thirst quite quickly.”
