“ Spectacular day. Wonderful scenery. Waterfalls amazing. Driver Ray excellent. Recommend to people to do this tour. Thank you!
Good way to see the different parts of the National park with sufficient time to check out the waterfalls, termite mound and barramundi with nice lunch included. Experienced tour guide happy to help and answer questions. Would recommend for all ages!
3 years agoWent by myself, made some great friends and saw some beautiful views. The waterfalls are easy to get to and are great for a quick cool off in the summer. It's a good day trip. Would recommend bringing insect repellent to Howard Springs as the mozzies are abundant.

6 years agoOut of the four tours I did in the top end with AAT Kings I enjoyed this one the least. Our driver was a little grumpy and on a long day on a bus it doesn't help make the trip enjoyable. The falls were nice and as someone with 'limited mobility' it was great that I had options that did not involve stairs, although with the time available at the first falls I did not have time to reach the swimming hole before I had to turn back to return to the bus. Lunch was set up well so that there was only a small wait time in the line.
7 years agoOk, the tour itself was 5 stars. This is an experience of wonder and amazement. Termite Mounds (Magnetic and Cathedral) and the amazing Falls - Florence, Wangi (pron. One Guy) and Tolmer (I think there was one other). What bought the rating down was the driver Rob. His consistent ums and ers every 2nd word was annoying (whereby we were switching off listening) but also changing what he was saying midway through saying something and then at lunch time, wanted to talk politics - hey we are on holidays here we DON'T want to talk politics (unfortunately he found someone willing). Unfortunately for us this spoilt a great day.
7 years agoWe had an amazing experience ! A great day visiting wonderful Australian sites. Simon, our driver, was fantastic. He arrived right on time to our hotel to pick us up. His commentary was very informative and he was very easy to talk with. He was also very accommodating and helpful providing cold water to refill bottles and especially when Lorraine fell over, badly scraping her knee, he helped with Betadine swabs and bandaids. I would highly recommend this tour to all my friends, family and colleagues.
8 years agoBoth myself and my wife had a great day out, Ted the tour guide was really good telling stories about himself and is mate Billy, great experience when he played the didgeridoo on the bus. The one thing I would like, would be shorter stops at the Bunyan tree and more time at the falls etc.
1 decade ago“You must bring walking shoes and swimming gear as your guide takes you to stunning waterfalls, rock pools where you can swim, and a walking path in the forest where you learn about the plants and wildlife.”
