The kids loved this aquarium, we watched a presentation on the coral reef and it was so interesting and informative. The tanks were beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this, you can do the whole thing comfortably in an hour.
Was a nice aquarium but is expensive and small. Not as good as Melbourne/Sydney/Gold Coast aquariums. Would benefit from including the turtle's rehabilitation extra in the entry price as not a main attraction to be seen here, unfortunately.

Was nice aquarium but is expensive and small. Not as good at Melbourne/Sydney/Gold Coast aquariums. Would benefit from including the turtle's rehabilitation extra in the entry price as not a main attraction to be seen here, unfortunately. Also no big sharks and only 1 small croc. Wouldn't take much to improve people's opinions by either lowering the price or having the main feature for example the turtles. Also, I was really surprised wasn't more of a feature with crocs considering we are in FNQ.

Family friendly, easy accessibility, user friendly for all ages. Highly recommend.

The Cairns Aquarium was amazing. A definite must have on your bucket list. The kids loved it and it was very easy to follow and get around. Being two levels it had easy lift access which allowed a pram to freely move around the aquarium and between levels. The kids loved it and it even had a small touch and feel area which was a favourite. Highly recommend if in Cairns.

Well worth the visit when you are in Far North Queensland.

Cairns Aquarium was an amazing place, it had so much information and a variety of sea life and native wildlife. It was kid-friendly and suitable for all ages and was well set out. Would highly recommend for people of all ages to visit when in Far North Queensland.

A must see for any visit to Cairns. Gives a great understanding of how the local ecosystem works from the mountains to the sea.

Absolutely fabulous. My son is a sea life lover so we have been to many aquariums here and around the world and this really was one of the best. We went twice we enjoyed it so much. Informative signs and fabulous enclosures with a great variety of sea life. A lot of space for movement and wide viewing areas so it wasn’t it the slightest bit cramped.

Overall it was an amazing experience, the staff were lovely and the aquarium was just absolutely beautiful and breathtaking.

It was amazing, the staff were really helpful and the Aquarium was absolutely beautiful and breath taking, from all different fishes, to snakes, frogs, sharks, baby crocodiles and stingrays! We didn’t try out the restaurant, but we will be doing that when we return back to Cairns! We give it 10/10!

Highly recommend the aquarium for a half day visit. My kids really enjoyed it even though they did rush through to the end.

Impressive setup, was nice to see all the fish were actually local fish to the area. We also enjoyed following the narrative of the different water systems as we walked through. Treated ourselves to lunch at Dundee’s which is attached and it was not only delicious but the staff were extremely friendly and attentive.

Easy access. Good educational experience. Well organised. We were able to see the feed as well.

My 7 year old enjoyed. Easy to get around. A lot of places to park, a car nearby. Few people in the tank were showing the feed. There were a lot on children from school holiday programs. It can be quite noisy. There is a shop at the end. Good selection.
