“ This is a perfect day on the North Island! Drive on the 90-mile beach is what I chose this tour for and enjoyed it the best. The tour guide was absolutely fantastic explained about every possible thing on our way. It was more like Travelling with friends.

3 years agoWe started the afternoon cruise at the Fullers Office where we presented our voucher to a very helpful and pleasant woman. We were lucky in that we had a fine day with only a slightly chilly breeze . After grabbing some lunch at the local shop we embarked onto the boat, which was comfortable and clean. We were greeted by the 4 staff members and set off on our journey. After clearing the jetty the Captain provided us with information on our trip and continued to do so throughout the day. He was both informative and humorous. First stop was Russell Island, then we continued out around various Island until we arrived at the hole in the rock. The Captain decided the tide and currents were right to attempt a passage through the hole, and we made it without any problems. Quite exciting as the hole did not look big enough. We then journeyed back to Piahi. During the cruise we were lucky to spot a pod of dolphins, two killer whales and a large school of fish. The only drawback was that the prices for food and beverages was costly. We had an enjoyable trip and would recommend it.
